Rules of Blackjack

Blackjack is a gambling card game in which the player needs to beat the dealer, usually called a casino, and score 21 points. Its popularity in casinos around the world is due to its simpler and more accessible scheme compared to poker and the need for constant risk.

The main goal of blackjack is to score more points than the dealer, while staying under 21 points. Between two and seven people can sit at a table. To play, you need:

  • A small deck of 52 cards, no joker. The game of blackjack usually involves four, six, or eight decks of cards that are mixed together.
  • Shoes – shoes. a special device that allows different cards to be placed and delivered one at a time.

Players place their bets before starting a blackjack game. On the blackjack table, the chips are placed in a special rectangle. Then the active phase begins:

  1. The croupier deals two cards each to those sitting at the table and to himself. At the bottom, the players are dealt “in the open”. The croupier shows only one of his cards.
  2. The croupier can assess the risks and chances of winning in the casino by seeing the open card and his card. Each participant decides whether to take one more or fold, split the hand, double the original bet, or give up. Players need to score as many 21 points as possible or the amount closest to it. A contestant loses on an overcall.
  3. The croupier is revealed, awaiting each player’s decision. He must receive an extra card and show it if his score is less than 16 points. End his turn if it is more than 17.
  4. The results of the croupier and the players are compared. For example, if the casino gets 19 points, all players with 20 and 21 points win.

Rules of Blackjack

An ace and any “picture” (jack, queen or king) are considered the most winning combinations to score 21. This is called “blackjack” and gives the player:

  • Win at odds of 3 to 2. For example, you can get $7.5 by betting $5. Even if the dealer scores 21 points with three cards, the player wins.
  • get his chips. if the dealer has a hand of blackjack (21).

The basic steps players can take after receiving their cards:

  1. insurance. Realized if the dealer has an open ace. When playing blackjack in a casino, insurance allows you to split your bet in half.
  2. Luck. Taking an extra card. For example, a participant had a deuce and a ten in their hand. They get a total of twelve points. You must acquire one or two extra cards to get closer to 21.
  3. Stand, stick, stay. Stand down. For example, a player holds a ten and a nine in their hand. They have a total of 19 points. There is a minimal chance that one deuce will come, but there is a risk that someone will win or lose.
  4. Split. Available to those who play blackjack and have two identical cards. In Split, you can split your hand into two by placing an extra bet and getting +1 card on each. This increases the chances of winning blackjack.
